Board minutes September 13, 2005

 




The meeting was called to order at 7:40. Those in attendance were Bob O’Leary, Mitsie Toland, John Coffin, Bob Graeff, Jane Charpentier, Albert Charpentier, Lou Erdelan, and Polly Hagan.

The minutes of the July meeting were accepted.

 

Treasurer’s Report showed a balance of $27,070.47

Check paid(1) – Annual meeting and dues envelope mailing    $605.84

Committee Reports

·        Planning – Bob O’Leary stated that a new driveway is being constructed on the 2100 block of Yellow Springs Road for new construction probably behind the existing house. No activity on the Church Road bridge detour. It should be under way by the end of September.

·        Zoning – John Coffin reported that a carpentry business will be taking over the property across from Flygt on Yellow Springs Road.

·        Communications – Cathy Lucas sent thanks to Bob O’Leary for getting the map and list of names of township residents within 2500 feet of the PA Turnpike for the Turnpike subcommittee. There has not been a charge for this information. The new maps sent to all Township residents by the Township are great. The 2006 dues envelope will accompany the notification of the upcoming Annual Meeting letter. That letter must be sent out within the next week.

Topics of Discussion

·        At the annual meeting, we will be discussing the addition of Glen Craig and Valley Greene to the Great Valley Association area.

·        We will have a new Supervisor representing our area as Guy Ciarrocchi is resigning.

·        There was some discussion as to the state of the Church Road /Chesterfield Parkway dispute. It is still being discussed with no final resolution.

·        Speakers at the annual meeting will be Warren Kampf, Tredyffrin Township Supervisor at Large, and Elaine Elbich and Saul Mellman from PennDOT. The meeting will be October 12th at 7:30 in the Township building.
